Weavers are famous for elaborate hanging nests woven from grass and plant fibers. This bright yellow-orange bird is working a nest on thorny branches; a metal leg band suggests a managed or monitored bird (often seen in zoos and aviaries). Exact species within the weaver family can be hard to pin without a closer look at the head pattern.
