Strip Grazing Paddock Mapper
Size rotational strips from herd intake and regrowth days, draw move order on your pasture, and get a two-week move schedule.
How to use
- Enter herd size (head or animal units), pasture size, and regrowth days (14–40).
- Generate to see strip count, width, rest days, and temporary fence length.
- Follow numbered strips on the map — move daily or every N days as calculated.
- Use Execute / Maintain tabs for water, fence setup, and grazing hygiene.

- Never graze below 3–4 in residual — move before "lawnbowl" stubble.
- Skip or fence off wet strips to prevent pugging and compaction.
- Rest each strip full regrowth period before re-entry.
- Soil test every 2–3 years; lime/fertilize per results — clover fixes N on many pastures.
- Provide shade and mineral at water point; move back-fence same day as front fence advance.
