Start with one page
The biggest blocker to a personal blog is not HTML — it is waiting until everything feels official. Themes, accounts, plugins, newsletters… none of that helps if there is still nothing to read.
Open a text editor. Make a file called index.html. Put a title, one
paragraph about what you care about, and save it. Open it in a browser. That is a site.
Tomorrow you can add a second page and a link between them. Next week you can share a stylesheet. Tools can come later. A page you can open today is already useful.
