Strip Grazing Paddock Mapper

Size rotational strips from herd intake and regrowth days, draw move order on your pasture, and get a two-week move schedule.

How to use
  1. Enter herd size (head or animal units), pasture size, and regrowth days (14–40).
  2. Generate to see strip count, width, rest days, and temporary fence length.
  3. Follow numbered strips on the map — move daily or every N days as calculated.
  4. Use Execute / Maintain tabs for water, fence setup, and grazing hygiene.

Execute — setup

    Maintain — grazing hygiene

    • Never graze below 3–4 in residual — move before "lawnbowl" stubble.
    • Skip or fence off wet strips to prevent pugging and compaction.
    • Rest each strip full regrowth period before re-entry.
    • Soil test every 2–3 years; lime/fertilize per results — clover fixes N on many pastures.
    • Provide shade and mineral at water point; move back-fence same day as front fence advance.
